Happy New Year to everyone. Could not resist the temptation to show how it all started this year.
Perhaps one could call it moving from one extreme to another…real climate change. From the Domincan Republic almost straight to Finnish Lapland for a two day lecture tour.
Monday – Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic.
Tuesday – at the office in Brussels.
Wednesday night at the Helsinki Airport.
Thursday in Kemi and Tornio (Finnish Lapland!) with my colleague Hannu Takkula.
Friday – Rovaniemi airport – the home of Santa Clause!
Next week we are back to legislative business. The Strasbourg plenary kicks off tomorrow.
