It is always tough to get back from a nice six week holiday. The brain does not want to get in gear.

We had a great time. Spent a week in Finland, a week in Italy, a week in Scotland, three weeks here in Brussels and a long weekend in England.

Here are some pics.

Our gang in Italy: eight adults and 10 kids.

The famous bridge of the 18th hole at St. Andrews…and a less famous golfer happy about his 79.

Chris Main, the owner of Glenelg Inn. A must for those who visit Scotland.

In Scotland we stayed at the Glenelg Inn. A wonderful place on the west coast of Scotland. Check out www.glenelg-inn.com. The owner, Chris Main, is a living legend!

In Grantown-on-Spey we stayed in Holmhill House, a bed and breakfast run by an Irish couple. Well worth a visit: www.holmhillhouse.co.uk.

A Scottish MEP, Struan Stevenson, had helped us to with a couple of locations. As a token of appreciation a brought him a bottle of Finlandia Vodka. A truce has been declared in the vodka wars of the European Parliament…
